This is Namia, she is curious and enjoys adventure! She has feelings that sometimes are difficult for others to perceive because she doesn’t always necessarily express them in a traditional way. She can be quiet yet very knowledgeable about a situation or even knowing the answer. She is brilliant!
This is Nuzo, he loves potatoes and avocados but he doesn’t like greens. He enjoys drawing and loves spending time with his family and friends. Although he has a difficult time reading he always tries to do his best with the help of his sister while helping her understand what they are reading. He loves his sister dearly and is always there to defend her!
Friendly, warm, charming, patient, big smile, pays attention to his kids, easily notices their mood switches and needs. Loving, caring and pays close attention to his family and their individual and overall needs, interacts well with his kids and wife
Friendly, caring, not so talkative, caters well to her family’s needs, with help from Daddy. Sometimes joking, once in a while. A bit busy, most of the time. Gives good hugs to her family but sometimes doesn’t know what exactly to do to assist her kids with their emotional and neurodiverse needs. Slowly and especially after diagnosis, she and Daddy learn how to handle their neurodiverse kids.
Meet Bubelang, a friendly, caring, great caregiver and tour guide for Nuzo and Namia as he chaperones them in the different countries they visit around Africa. A people’s person overall. Gentle and kind. Bubelang has Dyslexia and depends on Nuzo and Namia’s help to read things and unlock or overcome challenges,and he considers them superheroes,just like the late Bibi told him. He is a great encourager for Nuzo and Namia and they easily respond to him and relate with him with deep fondness. He is a traveller and a lover of adventure.
Shy. Friendly when you get to know him. Playful when triggered or encouraged. Next door neighbor of Nuzo and Namia. Since the twins are new, with time, they develop a relationship with Kito that forges a bond between them of great friendship and fun play. He lives with his mother.
